Deuteronomy 30:1-6
And [when you] shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee. And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

Jeremiah 31:10-13
He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock. For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord. . . . for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

The Mosaic Covenant

Exodus 19:4–6
If ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people. . . . And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.

Exodus 31:16–17
Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath . . . for a perpetual covenant.
It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever. . . .

Deuteronomy 30:15–20
I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. . . . I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

The Davidic Covenant

The New Covenant

Jeremiah 31:31–34
I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers . . . which my covenant they brake…
But this shall be the covenant that I will make . . . For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Doctrine and Covenants 1: 12-23
Prepare ye, prepare ye for that which is to come, for the Lord is nigh; For they have strayed from mine ordinances, and have broken mine everlasting covenant. . . . Wherefore, I the Lord, knowing the calamity which should come upon the inhabitants of the earth, called upon my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and spake unto him from heaven, and gave him commandments. . . . That mine everlasting covenant might be established; That the fulness of my gospel might be proclaimed by the weak and the simple unto the ends of the world, and before kings and rulers.
